At JBC Technologies, we provide premium quality embossed aluminum sheets, rolls, and custom die-cut shapes. We have extensive converting and die-cutting capabilities and manufacture products for a wide variety of industrial applications. As a vertically integrated manufacturer More... and service provider, we help companies reduce overall costs through intelligent product design, cost-effective converting and die-cutting, and value-added programs for inventory management. Embossed aluminum is part of a complete thermal-acoustic solution. Along with increasing the stiffness of the aluminum substrate to allow the use of thinner gauge material, the 3D structure created by the embossing reduces vibration and noise. Embossed aluminum is flexible and formable, and we can easily create die-cut parts such as dashboard insulators, hood insulators, tunnel shields for underbody systems, etc. With our calotte embossing capabilities, we create raised, 3D features on thin gauge, 1 to 12 mil thick aluminum and 1 to 10 mil thick stainless steel. We produce rolls or sheet measuring up to 60” in width. Embossed aluminum is available with a pressure-sensitive adhesive or one or more layers of insulation materials, and we can also add micro-perforations to improve acoustic performance. Our facility utilizes several different die-cutting technologies, including precision rotary cutters, high-speed flatbed presses, wide web presses for oversized items, and manual presses for creating custom embossed aluminum shapes and forms. We specialize in working with customers from the prototyping stage and ramping up to high volumes. As a lean and ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, we pay detailed attention to quality from incoming raw materials and throughout the entire production cycle. We offer blanket order fulfillment as well as individualized inventory management programs to provide an integrated supply chain solution. JBC Technologies has the quality systems, the equipment, and the technical know-how to manage the complex part geometries, tight tolerances, and multi-layered constructions needed for medical device die-cutting. We’re proudly ISO 9001:2015 certified with vertically-integrated More... converting capabilities that include high-speed, high-precision, rotary die-cutting, multi-layer laminating, slitting, and automated assembly. The category of “medical tapes and adhesives” is a bit of a catch-all. It covers everything from industrial acrylic foam tapes and thin bonding tapes – used in the assembly of medical hard goods and durable medical equipment – to the many medical-grade polyester non-woven and other materials used in disposable health and beauty products and long term wearables like remote heart and glucose monitoring. There is one thing all of these items have in common, though, and it’s that they all pass some form of biocompatibility testing in order to truly be labeled “medical grade". Less
