Candy Digital, purveyors of virtual collectibles, also joined "The Bigs" of MLB NFT. In their January 15 debut, they passed $1 million in trade volume within eight hours then "posted $2.7 million weekend sales." 

The move towards digitality offers greater variety, special deals, limited items, and the chance to earn goodies through unique events or promotions. These incentives may also be included with ticket sales, to boost fans' experiences at famed ballparks.

2. Context-specific Analytics and AI 

If an analytics engine records a player achieving a single, this signifies (no pun intended) a single thing: the player reached first. But it lacks context. More intuitive analytics would provide this missing context, logging exactly how a player notched their single. Did they manage a good hit or just a good run? And how did the other team react?

These extra details, especially over time and sorted by team or player, can open up the game with more complex, situation-specific strategies. After all, what's the point of AI if it doesn't fully understand the impact of in-game events?

3. Biomechanical Studies for Improved Health and Performance 

Virtual analyses aren't just exceptional at breaking down plays; they can zoom in and break down individual movements with equal detail. The study of biomechanics can improve athletic performance and reduce injuries, thanks to more accurate, attentive technologies that allow the most detailed evaluations yet.

With increased sophistication comes ease of use, and it no longer requires an expert to interpret the results. This smarter yet simpler approach is more accessible and practical, as it can help coaches and staff deliver quick evaluations or make on-the-fly changes.

4. More Accurate Decision-making and Tracking Tech
