Valmont Industries, Inc. has announced the successful international launch of its cloud-based technology, Valmont Coatings Connector (VCC) Max, at two facilities in Queensland, Australia. The job-shop solution connects customers, employees, and global locations by replacing all legacy on-premises systems, making it the first fully cloud-based solution in the industry.

VCC Max allows for real-time product tracking and notifications, access to certifications, shipping forms, proof of delivery, and more. Since its launch in November, the technology has delivered over 5,000 automated notifications monthly in Australia, reducing the volume of phone calls by 40%.

“VCC Max is extremely powerful and yet simple for our operators to use, allowing them to receive, process, and modify orders from anywhere on any device, saving significant time and reducing errors,” said Steve Wairepo, General Manager of Operations at Valmont Coatings - APAC. “Static reports are being replaced with live dashboarding, providing our operators actionable information to better serve our customers.”

The implementation of VCC Max is expected to have a significant impact, making operations simpler and more efficient for Valmont employees. As a result, the input and information provided to customers will be more accurate, leading to an enhanced customer experience. With this new technology, Valmont Coatings gains a competitive edge over its rivals by offering real-time feedback and order transparency, which saves customers valuable time that would otherwise be spent tracking down orders.
